Use the Mobile App as a Provider
If you need to meet patients outside of the clinic, you can remotely scan their smart packages using the mobile app.
Phone Requirements
iPhone 7 or higher, running iOS 13 or later.
NFC-enabled Android phone, running Android 6 or later.
ANDROID TIP
Open your phone’s Settings app and type “NFC” into the Search bar to check if your phone has NFC. Then ensure that your phone’s NFC is turned “On”.
Install and Set Up CertiScan
Search for “CertiScan” in your app store. Install the app, and sign in with your same credentials from the web portal.
How to Scan
Scanning with iPhone: Tap the Scan button and bring top edge of iPhone near eCAP.
Scanning with Android: Bring NFC antenna near the eCAP. Antenna location varies by phone model but is usually in the middle-top backside.
After scanning:
- Look for success: Two icons will indicate successful scan.
- Listen for success: If your phone is unmuted there will be a chime.
